RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

Problem statements:

• Burnout and prolonged working hours among medical residents and interns.
• Medical errors in high-stress and high-stakes settings 
• The increasing vaccine hesitancy among the community.
• The stigma of the utilization of mental health services.
• Lack of accessibility in healthcare facilities (Including ISL training, ramps, braille, railings, etc.)
• Inadequacies in standards of care in government and public health systems.

 

• Participants are expected to provide innovative solutions to the above problem statements.
• Team of 1 to 3 members from the same college.
• For UG and PG students.
• Abstract of a MAXIMUM of 500 words.
• The abstract should be submitted in Arial font, font size 12.
• The abstract should comprise of: Problem Statement, Aim, Objective, Solution, Feasibility & Application, Conclusion
• Submit a pdf file of your abstracts. It should be named as per the following format- <participant name><event name><event category>
• The solution should be a raw, original idea based on its application and feasibility.
• Participants are also free to formulate a problem statement of their own and provide an authentic solution.
• Presentation time: 5 minutes
• Question and Answer round: 4 minutes
• Presentation format: MS OFFICE 2010 or higher versions.
• Any form of plagiarism will not be permitted.
• The college identity should NOT be revealed during the presentation, speeches, or abstract; doing so is grounds for disqualification.
• If a team member is found violating any of the above rules, the team is liable to be disqualified.
• The judges’ verdict shall be final and binding.
