RULES & REGULATIONS

 

• Individual entries only
• For undergraduate students, interns, and post-interns only.
• Abstract topic :

"Can prenatal genetic testing be ethically justified in the prevention of genetic disorders, or does it undermine abortion rights and contribute to a eugenics-driven society?"

 

• The abstract should be of MAXIMUM of 1000 words only.
• The abstract should be submitted in Arial font, font size 12.
• The abstract may be written either FOR or AGAINST the topic.
• Participants need to make a pdf file of their abstracts and it should be named per the following format- <participant name><event name>
• Please mention the references in Vancouver style only.
• References will not be included in the word limit.
• Speaker Audition: Add a 2 minute video of yourself defending your stance.
• Irrelevant points, profanity or slang will not be accepted.
• The recommended video file formats are MP4, MOV, MKV, FLV, AVI
• Participants need to upload the file of their entry on their own Google drive.
• The link of the VIDEO (NOT FOLDER) is to be added in the Google form.
• Participants for the panel of the debate will be selected based on their abstracts and speaker auditions.
• Any form of plagiarism will not be permitted.
• The judges’ verdict shall be final and binding.
